this article is titled, "Motion Capture Filmmaking: Are Computer Generated Actors the Future of Hollywood?" this article is obviously about computer generated actors taking over the productions. they are more commonly used in films and very popular films in fact. Andy Serkis is best known has Gollum from The Lord of The Rings. motion capture filming is a technology witch renders human performances into highly detailed digital characters. the movie industry has always adapted to the changing times. incorporating costumes, props, sets, technology and imagination help bring the animation to life. Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) has brought in more viewers immensely. examples include the sharks in Jaws, and the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park. its really quite unusual how the actors become one of these computer generated characters. the actors where suits with sensory pins all over the body. you can get transformed to anything you wanted. for example, an animal, alien, demon or even a monster. but also i could be a passing fad as the article suggests. but Serkis says it is here to stay and is worth investing.
i really enjoyed this article. i do enjoy animated films form most. my favorite movies to watch are superhero movies witch have mostly CGI actors involved. its a cool technique to use in the filming world.

this blog article is called "Star Wars, Avengers and TV's Lost generation: How small screen visionaries are transforming Hollywood". the starting point for any directional career that involves running a billion dollar movie might just be running a TV series. this article tells us about two producers Joss Whedon and JJ Abrams about how they make it big. the idea of making a television series is just like making a movie, only shorter. but the two have different means when it comes to an emotional resolution coming faster with movies. the these cases, movies, like TV shows, must have episodic storytelling towards a larger part. who better to guide these projects then these two directors themselves.
i found this blog really boring. i was hard to understand. they could have talked more about the producers and what they wanted to do instead of giving random information.

http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/features/6-filmmaking-tips-from-quentin-tarantino.php
for my next blog this articled is called, "6 Filmmaking Tips from Quentin Tarantino." and obviously this blog is about tips about filmmaking. the first tip from director Quentin Tarantino is, "lie until people think you worked with Godard." this basically is just him saying you need to impress people to make it big. next, "good artist barrow." Tarantino says, "i steal from every movie ever made." next tip is, "make the movie on the page". write out a good script before directing the movie itself. make sure you are fully prepared. "Be impersonally personal" is his next tip. to make a good movie, try to make it personal. so you can get more involved and it would make it so much better to the audience watching the films. and lastly, "think outside the casting list." try to get a good range of caricatures and actors and actresses.
this article i found really boring. even though i love his works. one of my favorite zombie movie is his witch is Dawn of the Dead. he's a very good director but i didn't like his advice he gave about directing. he sounded about to not-it-all-ish and he was giving out advice about lying.. thats not right. as a director, i think he is a genius. but as a person, not so smart.

the first blog is titled, "The Inside Story Behind Disney's Paperman." its about there new animated short film about a man falling in love with a girl who get some help from paper airplanes. An oscar nominated in the best animated short category that merges CG and hand drawn animation. the character in the story is based off of the creator of the short, John Kahrs. Kahrs worked as a animator at pixar and walt disney studios before producing his Paperman idea.
i really liked this article and i found it very interesting to read. i actually watched the animation twice haha. the concept of it was really intriguing. i loved the story and how the airplanes gave it a certain twist. the animation was really good and realistic. the shading was out of this world. over all i thought it was a really good article.
